PaliHotel Seattle: A New Fav

By Published On: February 28th, 2022

Very rarely do I ever stay at a hotel that’s not a Marriott. It’s my go-to for any trip; I just know what to expect. But I came upon an article ranking the best hotels in Seattle, so I thought I would get out of my comfort zone and book elsewhere! I’m so brave.

My three main requirements for any hotel are location, décor, and price. The standout to me was the PaliHotel.

She’s located right in downtown Seattle. Literally a few steps away from the Pike Place Market. But really, the best part was being across the street from Cupcake Royale. (They’re delicious, you have to go now.) The hotel also has its own diner, The Hart and the Hunter, where I had a super tasty marshmallow latte.

Most hotels these days are very much into the contemporary décor, white walls, simple. Not a standout, but just nice. The PaliHotel is different. She’s eclectic and charming, taking a cue from Seattle’s charismatic vibe. Every room has forest green walls, antique touches, Smeg appliances, and exciting art are in every room. The lobby had to be my favorite part; so many books, a fireplace, it’s oh so cozy.

The price for all this? I paid $120 a night (taxes included) using Expedia. This may sound pricey to some, but I booked this a few days before (‘twas a spontaneous trip), so I would say that’s fair.

PaliHotel also has locations in Florida, Oregon, and all over California.

Sorry, Marriott, it’s time I move on.
